Step 1

Creating the profile

After you have completed the comparison tool, our software experts get to work creating an anonymous profile of your project. This profile describes your wishes, requirements and context, without any personal or commercially sensitive information. In some cases, a software expert may briefly contact you by phone to gather additional information and further refine the profile.

Step 2

The profile is put out to market

We share your anonymous profile with all relevant software suppliers in our database. This ensures your project is only brought to the attention of parties that may be a good match.

Step 3

Assessment by suppliers

Suppliers review your anonymous profile and determine whether they can genuinely help you. Only when they are confident they can, will they purchase your contact details from us. This happens a maximum of 7 times, keeping the number of contacts manageable and relevant.

Step 4

Contact with suppliers

The matched suppliers will contact you for an introduction, demo or substantive conversation. From this point on, you decide for yourself whether and how you wish to proceed.

Is Compare Software really free and without obligation?

Yes. The services of Compare Software are completely free and without obligation. You are not committed to anything and decide for yourself whether to contact matched suppliers.

How do you make money if it's free?

Software suppliers only pay when they are convinced they can help with your project and wish to receive your contact details. This has no influence on the content or independence of our advice.

How many suppliers will I be matched with?

Your profile will be matched with a maximum of 7 software suppliers. This keeps the number of contacts manageable and relevant.

Why am I not matched with all suppliers?

We only forward your profile to suppliers who genuinely match your software needs. This prevents unnecessary conversations and irrelevant offers.

What do you mean by an anonymous profile?

An anonymous profile contains all relevant information about your software needs, but no personal or commercially sensitive data. Suppliers first see only this profile and decide on that basis whether they can help you.

Can I view my own anonymous profile?

Yes. In the dashboard you can view the fully compiled anonymous profile, so you know exactly what information has been shared.

Do suppliers automatically receive my details?

No. Suppliers only receive your contact details if they explicitly indicate that they can help with your project and purchase your details from us.

Can I stop or pause the process?

Yes. You always remain in control. You can stop the process at any time or decide not to contact any matched suppliers.

What happens after I am matched?

After a match, the supplier will contact you for an introduction, demo or conversation. From that point on, you decide for yourself whether and how you wish to proceed.

How safe is my data?

We handle your data with care and only share what is strictly necessary. Access to the dashboard is personal and secured.
